Our Weight Training class is part of our Fit Like a Fighter Package. It is focused on developing strength and tone. We use different types of weights such as kettlebells, barbells, dumbbells and medicine balls. In this class we either do the exercises based on time or repetitions.
As a beginner, start with lighter weights. If you cannot do the exercise with proper form with the weight chosen, switch to a lighter weight. The form of any exercise is very important to prevent injury. As you gain strength and become more familiar with the exercises, you may increase the weight.
Starting out our Fit Like a Fighter Program, we recommend attending 2 – 3 classes per week, and as you develop your fitness levels increase the number to 3 – 4 times per week. Go at your own pace. Rest assured our instructors will be guiding you safely through all workouts.
We also recommend subscribing to our heart rate monitoring program. You will be able to track your calories burned and also if you are over or under training.
